Solar Installation

Rooftop solar installation: $15,000–$45,000 before incentives

This typical project range covers solar installation only. Battery storage is priced separately.

Your price depends on system size, equipment, roof layout, and installation requirements. Larger or more complex projects may exceed this range. We also offer panel additions to compatible existing systems, priced according to the scope.

Pricing includes required permits, plans and engineering, applicable utility interconnection and NCUC filings, associated fees, and utility service-drop work included in your project scope.

Battery Backup & Storage

Installed Battery Pricing

  • 13–16 kWh: $17,000–$21,000
  • 27–32 kWh: $25,000–$33,000
  • 40–48 kWh: $26,000–$37,000

These estimated ranges include battery equipment, required inverter or backup controls, and installation. New solar panels are priced separately.

Pricing includes required permits, plans and engineering, applicable utility interconnection and NCUC filings, associated fees, and utility service-drop work included in your project scope.

Your price depends on equipment selection, compatibility with your existing system, and installation requirements. Ranges overlap because some equipment options provide more storage at a lower cost.

These ranges describe complete installed systems. Expanding compatible battery storage is priced separately based on the equipment and work required. We also offer battery diagnostics and troubleshooting, with service charges confirmed before booking.

Prices are before incentives. Major electrical modifications and unusually complex installations may cost more.

Standby Generators

Standby generator installation: $11,500–$17,000

This estimated range covers typical 14–26 kW Kohler or Generac installations, including the generator, automatic transfer switch, pad, standard electrical installation, and gas-line connection.

Pricing includes required permits, plans and engineering, associated fees, and utility service-drop work included in your project scope.

Your price depends on generator size, placement, and the electrical and fuel connections required. Fuel tanks, gas-line costs above the allowance, major electrical modifications, and extensive trenching or other site work may bring the total above this range.

Additional Generator Services

  • Routine maintenance: starting at $450
  • Portable-generator inlet and compatible interlock installation: starting at $950
  • Standalone transfer-switch installation: starting at $1,500

EV Charger Installation

Installation: $1,100–$2,800
Charger equipment: $400–$800 additional

Installation includes a dedicated circuit, breaker, wiring, charger mounting, testing, and any required permit.

Same-wall installations within 10-foot from the electrical panel start at $1,100. Longer wiring runs, routing over garage ceilings, and crossing multiple garage bays increase labor and material costs.

We can supply chargers from Tesla, ChargePoint, and other manufacturers. Equipment pricing depends on the brand and model.

These ranges assume your existing electrical panel can support the charger. Panel or service upgrades and unusually complex installations are priced separately.

Installation pricing includes travel within one hour of our Wilmington office. Any additional travel is included in your quote before booking.

Steeper roofs and panels spread across multiple separate roof areas require more time and work, moving pricing toward the higher end of the range.
